3. Hey, Laura – Question for you about onions. Thanks to you, I’ve been planting Walla Walla onions for the last couple of years, and they have sized up for me like none other. I was almost ready to give up on onions, but these grow to be like softballs! Anyway, should I prune them? I’ve heard (Luke from MI Gardener), that cutting the bent over greens takes stress off the neck and causes the onion to create more rings. I’ve been doing it (and, it does look better!), but I’m not sure if this is actually necessary for size. I’d love to know what you think. Thanks for your input!!! (PS – THANK YOU for all you do. We all love you!!)

4. Just curious…there’s an obvious difference in how you go about planting and projects now vs just a few years ago. During that shift, you had a second kid and acquired more acreage. I’m just wondering which hit harder, the extra kid or the extra acreage? ???? LOVE seeing all the projects around town coming together so well and so happy you’ve found ways to minimize the wear n tear on your body. I probably fund my chiropractor’s Summer vacation with all the treatments it takes to get me thru the Spring garden setup. ????
