Quaint Family Home Gets Breathtaking Open-Concept Remodel | Love It or List It | HGTV

A couple purchased their current home in haste despite its flaws so they could be closer to work and school. Although they love the area, their 1990s house is dated and lacks the space, function and style they would prefer. While Hilary is determined to deliver the luxuries they desire from their previous home, David looks to find them their dream home in the neighborhood they love.

When a house no longer feels like home, homeowners are left with a big financial and emotional question: renovate or sell it? Love It or List It helps fed-up homeowners decide. In each hour-long episode Realtor David Visentin and designer Hilary Farr compete for the homeowners’ final decision to stay or go. David’s insider perspective on the real estate market helps target listings to prospective buyers, but Hilary is determined to show homeowners that, within their budget, she can transform their worn-out house into a castle they can love. If the owners decide to list it, Hilary’s hard work adds to the home’s resale value. It’s a tough decision either way. Which choice would you make?

  5. I thought they were going to List It. That house David found looks incredible & huge!!!
Hillary did great as usual but it was more of a cosmetic job only. And that garage only needed decluttering!

  6. These people seemed to be tight on money and opted to stay with a minor renovation. Regardless, they came across as humble and appreciative
