  1. It always takes trial and error to really succeed

I'd redo it but depends on u

  2. This is a true work or art that I never gave credit for. New respect for this art ????????????????

  3. I would consider comparing your guys measurements, she might just be taller / longer than you and this might look right to your size? I'm not sure how tall you are versus if. You have a longer or shorter torso?

  4. Being that your torso is shorter than hers maybe that's why it seems like it's shorter than it should be, but doesn't hurt to make a second one to be sure

  5. I don't think you need to redo it! Once the trim is on, I feel like it would be fine, as long as you put the trim on after the skirt and elongate the bodice with the width of the trim

  6. I think her top is longer BUT proportionally they’ll sit around the same place. She may have a longer torso than you do! But based on where the flares sit at the hip bones, I’d say trust the process and keep going!

  7. It'll go so well though because you already know now what you want to do❤ Hakuna Matata!

  8. Dua looks like she has a longer torso than you so the short of corset top might make it so it's still lands at the same spot on your body. I like the way it sits now because when you put the skirt on the way it curves up over your hips will accentuate that area which is kind of the purpose of the way that the corset is formed.

  9. Just a thought if you remake the top, maybe also make the little hip flares a little more exaggerated to make sure they sit nicely on top of the skirt? The one you already made is cute on it's own though!

  10. Definitely redo. Little more work but a lot less stressful in the long run

  11. Def redo the corset, otherwise it will change the entire look of the dress. The look and style of this design is supposed to be rather long to elongate the torso, as you have a full skirt to compensate.

  12. Honestly i prefer it shorter, it looks better shorter than longer, leave it as it is

  13. This is fantastic! But I have no idea what the time line is. What's the next vid? There's no link…. ????

  14. Redo the corset for the dress but keep this one and just make it it’s own piece. I don’t think the current one will be able to hide the massive pleats and amount of gathers on the skirt. Also steel Boning would probably offer more support and shaping

  15. MAKE IT INTO A CUTE TOP!!!! it could even have a matching mini skirt!!! then redo it for the actual dress!!!
