  1. Just a suggestion, pull the waistband up to fit the corset. Then the bottom hem will fit the hoop perfectly and once the fringe is added it will all fit perfectly. ????

  2. Yeah I anticipated this. I think the corset still looks nice to keep it and just recycle it into something else. Like a mini version of the dress or a “casual” Chanel MET look. I think you can keep the petticoat and ad a ruffled trim around the hem to get the extra length.

  3. You don't have to make a whole new hoop skirt! The shape is mostly there for your purposes, you can just fill in the top part of the skirt silhouette with a bumroll! It'd give you the silhouette you're after AND it'd be accurate to the historical era(s) the dress is referencing. Although, those cheap mass produced hoop skirts (which it looks like this one may be) might not be strong enough to support the final skirt depending on how heavy the final skirt is and might collapse under the weight, so you might want to double up or reinforce it. Also, skirt hooks to hook the bodice to the waistband for when you wear it. Will help keep everything together and eliminate gapping when you move around ^^
Edit: oh, you might also want at least one petticoat layer (like a petticoat skirt not a hoop skirt) over the hoop & under the overskirt to help eliminate the lines of the hoops poking through the fashion layer

  4. Oh no. I think that hoop skirt is for someone 6 inches shorter than you ????. Instead of making a whole new one maybe you could add one more tier and hoop to make the existing one reach the ground?

  5. Sooooo amazing❤❤ atually you inspire my every time. Have a good day kiana????????
