She lived alone in a fairytale house on an island for 8 yrs!

Suzanne takes us on a tour of her “forest house” on Orcas Island in Washington. This magical cabin w/ a spectacular ocean view was designed and built by PNW famous designer – SunRay Kelley. Suzanne fell in love with the house, bought it, and lived in it for 8 years. Then she started renting it out to guests.

  1. Note says this house is no longer being rented out. I hope it wasn’t that someone ruined something. This place reminds me of Rivendell!

  2. Very interesting although in bad weather I’d hate to have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and it’s snowing or raining outside but I’m up in the tower and have to go out in the damp cold. Yuck. In theory it’s great except for that aspect. I wonder if she got tired of that!

  3. I was excited at the possibility of renting, my Son and his family live in Seattle and thought it would be a fun place for us to stay during one of my visits, but then I read she no longer uses it as a rental. I do hope this is due to a change she wanted and not because a renter, or more, damaged the property. It is truly unique and she clearly invested a lot of herself into the place. Thank you for showing us her beautiful home.

  4. Your place is absolutely gorgeous it is like a fairytale. Thanks for sharing this video. I enjoyed it

  5. Beautiful design with all the special touches. Warm, inviting “Magical” and draws your curiosity to be there in this special “Enchanting” house 💯🌟💜🌟💯

  6. I absolutely love it!!! And the smile on Suzanne's face as she takes us through each room clearly indicates her love of the place. Thank you for sharing. 💓

  7. Enchanting… We should all live in houses like this… It is disconnecting and unique. And I love it.

  8. Wonder what her profession is and how anyone can afford a house like this!

  9. I love it ! What an amazing place I love things that are different and beautiful and this place is just that beautiful.

  10. Wow, that place is really incredible! When I was a kid I lived on one of the neighboring islands… The San Juans are such a magical place, this takes it over the top!

  11. I would love to have this home on my property here in Texas. I just live everything about it. Totally awesome 🌻

  12. Very beautiful and cozy! Sorry but I couldn't share. That would be my sanctuary.

  13. Of course it’s Orcas. I lived on San Juan for 25 years, good luck buying or even renting anything there unless you’re a multimillionaire lol.
