  1. The wood will rot because of wet soil. It would be better to use planters or maybe staple some plastic on the inside or something.

  2. #1. You're not British, Honey. You dont pronounce the H in herbs. "erbs"
    .
    .
And one for the road: You don't pronounce the L in salmon, either.

  3. For all those who open there mouths on these forums before engaging their brains please note

Pallets are either heat-treated (heated to a high temperature in kilns to seal the wood) or treated with methyl bromide — a toxic pesticide that has been linked to human health problems and ozone layer depletion.

  4. New idea? How old are the people reporting this? My friends and neighbours have been doing this for decades????

  5. Fantastic idea to recycle,

    HOWEVER!!

IT SHOULD BE CLEARLY STATED THAT USING PALLETS CAN BE DANGEROUS. YOU HAVE TO WATTCH FOR TREATMENT MARKINGS. SOME ARE TOXIC!

MB means methanol bromine which is toxic. Do not use for food or any interior application.

    HT means heat treated.

Most pallets will have markings, IF they do not you cannot be sure it's treatment process and do not use for food.

USE ONLY HT STAMPED PALLETS FOR FOOD.

    ????

  6. Have you ever tried braking a pallet down like that and you need a mine field of codes to make sure these haven't had chemicals on them its not as easy as they make it out believe ????me.

  7. Watching that woman swing a hammer was so painful lol, dude is using a Brad nailer for framing that table…. That table will be so weak and flimsy.

Great recycle idea, terribly built. Before anyone goes off on me it's what I do for living. I build million/multi million dollar homes, oil rigs, highrises, hydro dams, bridges etc.
