  1. It's true, Flo. When they cook wild boar they put lots of ginger to remove the smell. I'm from Malaysia.

  2. you will love the Christian channel Living on a Dime! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  3. Great seeing Ella again. She has a great presentation in her part, like her mom

  4. Hi Flo! Love these recipes! I love to cook sous vide, I find it much simpler and tastier than any other cooking. Question for you. Do you find that the torch you use for sous vide leaves a bad taste on your food afterwards? Kind of a butane taste? Thank you

  5. What a blessing it is for mothers and daughters to cook together – especially when they live under the same roof! Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ’•

  6. I want to make the moo shu pork which I love but Iโ€™m not good with dough and I donโ€™t want to make the tortillas. Can I use store bought Mexican flour tortillas as a substitute. Your daughter is very impressive. Kind of a mini Flo ๐Ÿคฃ

  7. I just had weight loss surgery but when I can eat real food again there are so many of your recipes I want to make.

  8. Thank you so much, Flo! What size wok do you have? What brand do you prefer? ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ

  9. Hi Flo and Dude. I am so over the moon with your book. "Chinese homestyle" fabulous. Everyone should by this book. It is the best Chinese cook book out there. I should know I collect cook books ๐Ÿ˜ƒ please let me know how many books you have published. Many thanks. Blessings to you and your family xx

  10. These are just some brilliant ideas. Thanks for sharing your creativity with usb

  11. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  12. All dishes look yummy, but I think my favourite was the Moo Shu Pork. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ Even more so, loved seeing Ella showing of her adeptness in the kitchen. She obviously didn't inherit her mom's "can't be bothered" gene. LOL She is such a sweet young lady! You and Dude must be very proud! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

  13. Your daughter is very composed, her directions are clear and concise. Very well done. You can also see her upbringing through out with pleases and thank yous with Flo. Good for both of you.

  14. Your delicious egg drop soup is another good one Flo!!! Prices are going up significantly here in Australia as well and our veggie prices have skyrocketed due to all the rain we've had. I think though we can all save money by wasting less too – I've been focusing on that and it HAS made a difference. I also try to stretch out the time between grocery shopping trips which forces me to use what's on hand and get creative. All your ideas help, so THANKS!!

  15. How wonderful to see a segment with Ella! She seems to have such a gentle disposition and looks like Mama Floโ€™s Mini Me!! And this video sure was a super cooking bonanzaโ€ฆglad I ate beforehand!! Such delicious looking dishes and an Ella appearanceโ€ฆhow lucky we are!! TFS, Sharon๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜Š

  16. I try so hard to budget around $10 a meal. I'm in BC too, it's so expensive! I have a few classics I stand by, thankfully. Thank you for these new recipes to add to the collection!

  17. Sending greetings from S.W. Ontario Canada. These meals looks so yummy๐Ÿค—. I just would like to share something my Mum taught me when I was first learning to cook/bake. Her "tip" was to crack one egg at a time into a separate small bowl and then put the egg into your ingredients. This is to prevent cracking an egg that may have a blood spot in it/gone bad etc. and therefore possibly contaminating your bowl of ingredients.

  18. Thanks Flo for the simple and the basics, when my kids were little I needed to get them enjoying vegetables not only for health but taking them for dim-sum introduced them to a New culture ..P.S. I pulled out my Wok..making your fried rice recipe..

  19. Great video โ€ฆ again! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Iโ€™m curious if you have had success with arrowroot as a thickening agent in lieu of corn starch?

  20. Flo, can you spell out the first sauce you used for the noodle dish? Can you buy it online anywhere? All the dishes you shared look scrumptious and great for our dwindling wallet.

  21. Thank you Flo for all these delicious recipes! Great job Ella ๐Ÿ‘
Have a great weekend everyone ๐Ÿฅฐ

  22. For me I chose the easiest and quickest dish , the noodles , since I cook for myself , but later in the week I recap , thanks , have a wonderful Sunday .
