  1. I'll be a Watch & Wonders 2023 – which brands/watches do you want me to cover?

  2. Thanks Adrian – always interesting.
One word that's not mentioned at the same time as Rolex is quartz! But given that quartz movements are increasingly less of a taboo particularly as Grand Seiko champion that technology as an equal to the best mechanical movements in the world, do you think it's likely that Rolex would pick up where they left off with the Oysterquartz? Would also be an opportunity to branch out again into a Genta inspired design, which if anything has grown in desirability over the years.
For me the Oysterquartz remains completely enigmatic, and a modern take on that with set-and-go capability and c. +/- 5 seconds per year, would be epic, and as originally marketed by mountaineers Messner and Habeler, would stand up as a true tool watch alongside the Explorer in the Rolex range…

  3. Yeah I would go nuts for that AP/Gshock collaboration! If they made the all blue one I would be first in line!

  4. Great content ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
GShock and AP would be great๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

  5. Could you imagine Rolex doing a plastic Submariner?.
This is where Omega and Rolex differ; Iโ€™ve often thought Omega tend to spread themselves thinly, they try to appeal to everyone (nothing wrong with that, but it sort of dilutes the brand).
I was disappointed when Omega usurped the James Bond watch (007 always wore a Rolex in the books, and even used one as a Knuckleduster in one)
Rolex keep to the same discreet high standard, always.

  6. Grand Seiko for me (if indeed they are there). On the prediction front, Its been a while since Tudor worked with black ceramic, in fact they have only touched it on on model I believe, so how about a black ceramic GMT PRO, or even better, a BB58 GMT in ceramic with a green second time zone hand? Now that, id be on the wait list for a long, long, long time lol!

  7. What about a white dial Black Bay Pro? THAT would be a banger! Would have been The Watch of The year! Thoughts?

  8. 70 years since Sir Edmund Hillary climbed Everest. imagine the white explorer to match the white dial

  9. Adrian good content.

Rolex should make a Silver dial Daytona in steel. (Panda) with a Flat blue tip on the second hand as a 70th representing Le mans 24 LMP1.
Explorer in 40mm would be great in Black or White. Better still as a 70th Anniversary Aqua Marine Blue silk.
If Rolex made a colourful set of Submariners in "Oyster Quartz" they would sell millions. Question is who would make it? Then again knowing Rolex, they will buy a another Swiss watchmaker and it would be forever. Just like Renault making for Mercedes.

Your IWC XX Pilot is wicked and i'm getting one.

  10. Awesome video as usual! Love all the proposal. The casioak i would queue and camp in front of the store to get. Keep doing this, Adrian!

  11. I struggle to get excited by Tudor for the exact reason you mention, just rereleasing old Rolex models. Would love to see Tudor do something else. Iโ€™m not a sub fan but the platinum sub would look awesome. Shame it would just fall into that impossible bracket as the rest. Keen to see what JLC do at watches and wonders though.

  12. If they made a slimmed down pelagos GMT that would be a watch id very seriously consider

  13. An all metal CasiOak from Casio and AP is something Iโ€™d be willing to buy on preorder before the deal was even finalized.

  14. Coke is predicted to come back and the Root Beer go. Highly, highly doubt they'll release a 40mm, white Explorer when the Explorer 2 has a white dial and is a bigger case already at 42mm.

  15. A lot of similar predictions to Monochrome watches – great minds must think alike ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. i still STILL just want a Tudor BB58, black dial with a Tudor corporate Red bezel (maybe a Rose on the dial (never going to happen)). It would be such an easy thing for Tudor to produce, and it'll round out the Black, Red, Blue 58 line, just like the Black, Red, Blue 41mm range.
Please Tudor i've been waiting since 2018.

  17. I like the idea of a titanium Submariner but I dont think we'll see it. I bought an Alpha explorer style case and bracelet put in a 2824-2 and a white dial with black numerals, not explorer style. I enjoy it but next to my old 36mm explorer its a completely different feel. The moonswatch is just a joke, having bought one and it breaking then buying another demonstrates you really are one of life's optimists

  18. What if Rolex doesnโ€™t celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Sub, but instead the 75th anniversary in 5 years?
That way they could do a 60th anniversary Daytona this year.

Your prediction of the actual CasiOak sounds insanely cool but I canโ€™t really see AP taking part in that. Having said that I could be completely wrong ๐Ÿ˜‚

  19. Post pandemic people have realized how ridiculous coveting material products actually is.
Being held to ransom in the secondary market is over.

  20. I want a burgundy Pelagos 39…but it's probably not gonna happen ๐Ÿ˜…

  21. I think Rolex will release a full gold Hulk submariner
I dont think they will go too far or creative

  22. Going once again through a process of buying a Rolex…. I dont know if I have the nerves. But what can you do, after sub there must be a gmt.
