It's clearly not her English that is the issue, but the content. THE CONTENT. Whatever, what's done is done though..
the truth of the matter is Maxine did well' she exceeded expectations and and let's give it to her the girl gave it her all and for that kudos to her.
Please stop analyzing.. kaya may mga judges na may mga experiences kasi sila may alam sila kung sino ang karapat dapat at hindi si maxine yon..

ITS JUST THAT MAXINE IS NOT WELL SPEAKING IN ENGLISH BUT SHES REALLY TRYING HARD TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH…HER ENGLISH WORD CONSTRUCTION IS NOT GOOD , PLUS HER ANSWER IS LACKING IN SUBSTANCE …BUT SHES REALLY BEAUTIFUL IN SWIMSUIT & EVENING GOWN …
Nothing went wrong. Maxine is just not that smart and articulate. It doesn't matter if she speaks in Tagalog, Taglish or English. She's just not well spoken. That is the honest truth.
Lesson learned get someone with brains not just outside appearance. You don't get to be smart overnight. Remember she's representing the whole country and not just herself and you don't want to be a laughingstock all over the world. Here in the States they make fun of beauty contestant who cannot answer questions correctly. They call them dumb blond.
