  3. I have a fancy Zojirushi Japanese rice cooker that was like $350 – it keeps steam sticky rice fresh for a week like you just made it an hour ago. Doesn't compare to a basic one if your family hoovers rice like mine , but for what it does it is still a luxury item when were talking about plain a$$ rice

  7. If I was a millionaire I wouldn't buy a three thousand dollar toaster… I would make normal toast and use the rest of the money to help supply better water harvesting systems to people that need it most.

  18. I still have a brass toasting fork. We would toast bread in front of the open fire! (It belonged to my grandparents). Somehow miss having hot faces from the fire while toasting. Miss the different smells of the fire and the toast (including the burnt bits! haha).
