  1. A martini glass is a glass that has a martini in it. That's a cocktail glass.

  2. When I worked in a restaurant I would fill the martini glass with ice and cold water, so it would chill while I mixed the drink ????

  3. Let’s see there’s lots of glass surface and it’s thin, wouldn’t you think that would radiate the cold out and the warm in? Don’t drink don’t know.

  4. Calling it a martini glass is 100% wrong, and it this fallacy that has led to cocktails in general being referred to as martinis of different kinds. This is a triangular cocktail glass, nothing else.

  5. I would love more stemmed glass history! I don't drink, but the glasses are pretty and I'm a history nut.
