Why Bonsai Are So Expensive | So Expensive

Bonsai is an artform that requires years of training, and centuries of dedication. At the 2012 International bonsai Convention a tree was on sale for one hundred million yen, just under a million dollars. And many more of these trees are considered completely priceless. So what is it that makes these trees so expensive?

  2. For some reason I was thinking of what to get someone who has everything for his birthday and I thought 22 years of rooting shaping bending growing loving crying then falling apart leaving dying etc. BONDAI TREE 🌳 😌 Happy Bless Birthday my endless love , my old friend. God Bless you and your new family

  3. Time, love, humbleness, care, piece, is what gives these special trees value. Cost well that depends on the time and interest. I live these trees.. I have few, my first one and oldest is 23 years old, had it since I was 15, it gives me the most calmness, it truly is a partner in this world.

  4. What's prices for them? And if i want 2 start with smaller young fresh tree, how much would cost me? Where 2 buy it from best

  5. I love the way the narrator like everything Asian treats it like some kind of sacred art that takes years to master when it's really just pruning plants and manipulating the way they grow

  6. when I grow up I am going to plant a bonsai and pass it on to my generations and every generation is going will represent their thoughts in a plant. In the end its not going to be a plant or just an art it will become a representation for my family a symbol of love sort of thing

  7. As Jesus says in John 6:40 "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." Jesus of Nazareth, who was God in the flesh of a man, died for the remission of sin, including yours, was buried, and rose form the dead 3 days later. If you simply believe in this to apply to you and trust Jesus to save you from hell then you have everlasting life in heaven. John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

  8. They say that if you receive bonsai trees as gifts rather than buying it yourself, fortune would doubly smile at you. That also makes these miniature plans a perfect gifting item. Its also a very lucky tree to sell on the market.

  9. Why keep trying to change it to your idea if it just keeps changing in its own way ? Just plant it and let it grow, let nature do its work, wait 25 years. Then ???. Then profits.

  10. Making bonsai es a beautiful hobby and expensive. After being in my kitchen and doing my recipes I take care of my little trees, it relaxes me wonderfully, I'm just a beginner, but I love bonsai and learning more. thank you for the video.

  11. Step 1: Get bonsai
    Step 2: Cherish Bonsai
Step 3: Teach your own kids to care for bonsai
    Step: 4 Die
Step 5: 25-40 years later you have a family of bonsai masters
    Wala!

  12. Lol, it's funny how this video doesn't say Bonsai Trees while the cashew video calls them Cashew Nuts.
Someone must really love the smell of their own farts at business insider.

  13. I first saw these bonsai in a Japanese cartoon show, called Doraemon(a very famous show here in INDIA).I thought these were toys or a certain type of plant but God I finally understood, its sumptuous.
