4 Levels of Pork Chops: Amateur to Food Scientist | Epicurious

We challenged chefs of three different skill levels – amateur Onika, home cook Lorenzo, and professional chef Frank Proto from The Institute Of Culinary Education – to prepare their favorite pork chop recipe. Once each level of chef had served up their creation, we asked expert food scientist Rose to explain the choices each made along the way – both good and bad. Which pork chop would you opt for?

  1. I love Onika! Her personality is awesome “let them have a little conversation…..what they talking about” ????❤️

  2. Lorenzo's grilled porkchop is exactly how every grilled Liempo is done in all of our family gatherings. Except the apple cider, Filipinod would have used sugar cane or coconut vinegar. I love it!

  3. I disagree with how little the level one seasoned her flour. Frank once again goes above and beyond because he respects himself. Lorenzo once again makes me smile like more than I should. Love these videos with those two in them so much. Also I would love to know where Frank gets his meat.

  4. I'd like to see an episode where all 3 chefs had the same budget and see what they come up with

  5. Not gunna lie, I'd eat all three, but I'd only fall in love with Frank's.

  6. The so called pro is typically boring and he fuked up those good expensive pork chops. I’m a professional chef I know what I’m talking about.

  7. Pro chef is a little blase' about his craft. The passion really comes through for the other two though.
