Aloo Matar – आलू मटर – Potato Peas Curry | How To Make Aloo Matar Sabji | Indian Maincourse Recipe

Ingredients:
२ उबले और काटे हुए आलू
१ कप उबले हुए मटर
१ & १/२ cup टमाटर प्युरे
१ tbsp मलाई
१ अदरक
२ लहसुन
१ हरी मिर्च
३/४ tsp गरम मसाला
१/४ tsp हींग
३/४ tsp लाल मिर्च पाउडर
१ tsp जीरा
नमक
१ छोटा कटा हुआ प्याज़
१ tsp शक्कर
१ tbsp तेल
धनिया पत्ता

Method:
– Grind chopped onions, ginger, garlic, green chilli in a mixer to make a smooth paste
– Heat oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds and once its starts crackling add asafoetida and onion paste.
– Saute the onion paste till its brown and add the tomato puree
– Mix it well and add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, sugar and cook it for about 7 – 8 mins till its almost dry
– Add water to the paste and mix it well by adding some cream/malai
– Add green peas, coriander leaves, boiled potatoes and mix it and cook it for a while. You can also add paneer.
– The dish is now ready to be served.
