  1. You guys accomplish so much in a work day . . . then you produce info-mercials for your sponsors (appreciated!) . . . and then you produce these vlogs. I'm thinking you're working in a different space/time continuum . . . 36 hour days?

  2. Surely I can't be the only person wondering how the truss company think it's right for the diminishing trusses to just butt up square to the hip. Not questioning you guys or your work but you would think they could have sent them cut to meet the hip❤

  3. I can't believe you guys didn't attach all the common jack trusses (baby trusses) to the girder truss before the crane came. It's simple to do, saves a bunch of time over doing it in the air and it braces itself immediately when installed. You don't even need to set up a jig as you can do it several ways, one of which is with the girder flat on the ground. You also get to start out with many of your eve blocks already installed. NEXT TIME….

  4. Hello Erik, Jamie, Arlo, Jay and Ray from Sydney Australia.
That's the first time I've ever seen a flat "truss" in plan view. Super nice to have the crane onsite.
    ????????????

  5. It might of been better to build each half on the ground and lift all at once. But the 4hr minimum makes it not make it worth it.

  6. @4:18 I am surprised that Arlo didn't do the trick my grandfather used to do with exposed stair walls. Build out the tread wall with the stringers but where the posts go, he would cut out the post width from the middle stringer (creating a mortise). Then you can cut the post end to have a tenon that slides into that pocket and run screws from the side of the stringer to securely anchor the post without having visible screws after finishing.

  7. What is the star on John-O’s hard hat? We also need more of his beard!

  8. That pile of trusses makes scene now! Jason looked like a safe Idiot, appearances are everything!!

  9. Great job, guys! I love Ray's magnet idea!

Everyone has a white hat. Who's in charge? LOL????????????

  10. Here in the UK, we call those type of houses semi detached ???? Duplex is a flat over here, or an apartment as you would call it over there ????
Great work tho, coming along nicely ????????

  11. Got me a triple hammer today. See what all the fuss is about and it was only $100 for the kit
