I never comment but thank you Maya for being transparent & seeing things the way where society doesn't. It's amazing to find someone who embraces their beauty & not be how society wants you to be. To amswer your question,my biggest fear about getting older is dying without knowing my life purpose,or dying without accomplishing what i have to do. thought I would be a doctor,married with 2 kids,own a home by 30.well Im 29,very single and still in school soooo yeah thats not happening..but that's okay.Everything will work out in God's timeline-not mine.🙏🏾

The problem I have is that we tend to think 40 is old, even 30 sometimes. People would love to be 40 again. I'm just hit that number this past January. And i went thru some kind of melt down because of it. I brushed myself off and realized life isn't over.

Girl you look good for your age. Black don’t crack. My biggest fear for getting old is probably not being where I want to be and death in my family like losing my mom and my grandmother. I’m old fashion so I doubt I will ever do online dating. I feel like when the time is right, you meet that person. Sometimes the person you looking for may not appear to what you are actually looking for as far as a significant other but they will match what you need in a partner . You are my dating twin! I feel so much better about dating now after watching this. I've deleted so many apps and downloaded them its ridiculous. But effort Is key and I'm proud of myself for even stepping out of my comfort zone and going on these dates. 😊
My husband and I met online. The most important and key thing to remember is to pay attention to what their pics are saying. Are the pics too “sexy” or “seductive”? Those type of pics usually are a good indicator of their intentions. Then it’s the profile description. What are they saying? Are they arrogant in the message…do they have a sense of humor? It’s so much involved in choosing the swipe right. My husband was attractive but had kind eyes and a profile description that seemed mature and laid back. We then chatted for 3 weeks before a phone call (my decision) then spoke for 3 weeks before the first date. We were head over heels, fell in love , engaged and married in 8 months and now about to celebrate 1 year of being happily married in Nov. Some would say it’s rare but I think it can happen often when both people clearly know what they want, are honest and not fearful to fall in love. @ShamelessMya it will happen for you soon. God has the perfect man for you. ❤️ Everything that you are focusing on in dating now is a great way to think. I got to that point and met my husband. I literally said to myself “I should do something different” and joined Tinder. Now, Tinder is not always a site for good dating lol but being focused on the way you want to select your swipe rights and how you date thereafter works soo well.
