  1. Guys! If you want to have a good and authentic one you absolutely need curd cheese! It is a must. It has to be fresh, milky and squeaky

  2. A pack of gravy mix isn’t even available everywhere unfortunately so I have to make gravy from scratch 🙁

  3. For those complaining that they didn't use cheese curds or "real" gravy, what part of the intro didn't you understand? They said they were making Universal Poutine, which means it's for people who don't have the resources (cheese curds) or the know-how (gravy) to make real poutine. (This is a repost, but you should do the same cuz everyone says its bad but its UNIVERSAL)

  4. You guys should do an all cheese poutine, fries made out of cheese with more cheese and a cheese gravy, garnished with cheese.

  5. Okay so for the western Canadians getting mad at the Québécois this is what's up: The English treated the French like shit and aided in their isolation from the rest of Canada. You guys tried taking away our language and culture many times and as a result we are very protective of our culture. That's why a lot of the politics is backwards and screwed up in Quebec because of this need to protect what we once almost lost. In the end there is blame on both sides but I'm just trying to clear up why a lot of Québécois don't feel Canadian. Some aren't proud Canadians because there wasn't much to be proud of. Hope this cleared up the beef a bit.

  6. i'm thinking its got to be the unique cheese curds that make poutine otherwise isn't this just chips cheese and gravy, not exactly anything special.
