Step #1: Log into your Search Console – in the search analytics reports you can see the most popular pages that are driving your search traffic.
When you click on a page you want to improve, Googe will show you a list of keywords that drive clicks and impressions to your site.
You can even download a CSV file that contains each of those keywords.
Step #2: Integrate those keywords into your web page – you can’t just shove keywords into your article, it has to flow. In most cases you will have to re-write your article or re-write your page, but it will be worth it.
With my site I typically make my articles double the length and I try to naturally include the keywords when I can.
Step #3: Include the keywords in your meta tags – by adding your main keywords within your title and meta description it will help increase your click through rate and rankings.
Step #4: Submit the page to Google – once you have updated your page, submit it to Google Search Console. Within a few weeks, you should notice an increase in search traffic.

Is this still effective in 2019?
Bro where can I get the very first video of SEO? I WANT TO LEARN FROM BEGINING.
You sir, are simply amazing. You're not only a SEO guru but a communication one as well.
Neil, sorry to bother you again only I forgot to ask about my bounce rate. I recently connected my site via the publicise feature in wordpress to the facebook and twitter pages I set up for my site. Since doing this my bounce rate has gone from around 21% to 49%. The site is only about 6 weeks old. Am I trying to do too much too soon to get traffic and should I disconnect from my facebook and twitter pages to remedy this and let my traffic build organically? Thanks Neil
Neil, thanks for the video…just the information I was looking for. One question though if I may…the last bit on resubmitting the page to google…can you explain briefly how to do that please? Thanks again for this video.
Neil, I love you like a fat kid loves meatloaf!
As the CTR includes thousands of impressions (some which may not be relevant or even see) wouldn't tracking individual URL's be a better indicator of performance than CTR %? Thanks!, great video btw
Awesome, Thank you brother
Thank you, Neil Patel, you are the best in all the world. I'll apply what I learned in your video in my blog jacksonmensagem.com
Well explained! Just what I needed. Thanks Neil <3
When you say to do that with all Popular pages, does that mean I should be submitting each popular page? sorry really newbie here.. My sites been up for a bit over a week but I am not seeing what people are using for keywords to search for my site service? Not sure if I missed something.
I think all the data that google search console is given from our site is incorrect. How to fix this?
