How to Make Marinated Cucumber, Onion, and Tomato Salad | Get Cookin' |

In this video, Nicole shows you how to make a marinated cucumber, onion, and tomato salad. This recipe involves tossing the sliced vegetables in a homemade dressing that’s made from white vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and sugar mixed together. The salad gets juicier and better with age, so make sure to let it marinate in the fridge for a few hours. It’s bursting with flavor and is the perfect side for any cookout or summer party!

  1. Love tomato and cucumber salad. I can't wait to try the juice in a bloody Mary. Thanks Nicole.

  2. In Greece they call this a village salad…of course there is much more to the dressing – OH, and Kalamata Olives and Feta Cheese! PERFECT!

  3. Looks absolutely delicious!! Thanks for sharing! I have a request! Would you please teach us how to make orange chicken? My daughter loves it and I don’t even know where to start!! Thank you for all the perfect bites you’ve shared with this community!!! Wishing you a Happy Mother’s Day!! ❤

  4. We make this salad often in the summer. Love garden fresh!

  5. I would love to see your take on "fir and ice tomatoes" and thanx for not making this a "short"

  6. I grew up with this salad. But I am really weird. I don’t like cucumbers, so my mom added bell peppers for me. Now I don’t have a garden and no farmers market within easy reach, so grocery store all the way. I use Roma tomatoes because they are so meaty.

  7. Wayyyy too much sugar.. and you need crusty bread to sop up all that juice????????

  8. This salad reminds me of both my grandmothers. I peel my cucumbers like poker chips too.

  9. I don't add any oil or sugar at all. Just tomato, cucumber, onion, fresh dill, salt and pepper and my "secret" ingredient – Cavender's Greek seasoning.

    •RED WINE ???? OR
    •CHAMPAGNE ???? VINEGAR***★.

    YOUR WELCOME EVERYONE ????????????????????????????????????

  11. Love that salad any time I can get fresh tomatoes. The only thing I'd change is white to red wine vinegar. Thanks for sharing.

  12. Bottled Italian dressing is AWESOME as well.
Make this every summer from my garden bumper crop
