How to Make Martha Stewart's French Fries | Martha's Cooking School | Martha Stewart

Watch Martha Stewart make French fries, the ultimate summer side dish, in this valuable recipe video. Martha begins with fresh Russet potatoes and turns them into mounds of hearty homestyle fries using a special attachment on the mandolin. A soak in cold water and two dips in hot oil leads to the perfect crunchy outside and a soft, pillowy inside. Instead of buying the frozen version, serve these homemade fries with almost any meal.

  3. Love watching your videos but I have a hard time watching ANYONE use a Mandolin since I sliced the side of my thumb off a few years ago!! Yeah, gives me the heebie-jeebies when anyone uses a mandolin anymore! Lol I just can’t get myself to use mine at all.

  4. I would like to make a comment regarding cosher salt, but I won't becozz, Polka could take legal action against me!😁🖕

  5. I love french fries cooked like this. They are amazing, alot of trouble, but they are worth the trouble.. I always put potatoes before cooking in water in the refrigerator.
