I've had that growing up in Trinidad! We call it padoo. lol never thought of the flavour as "mind blowing" though, just sort of sweet.
You should grow Sugar Apple!
I have a little ice cream bean tree I bought online a year ago but so far I've kept it in a pot inside. I heard they get massive, are you just planning on pruning aggressively as it get bigger, or are there dwarf varieties?
What zones do they grow in properly?
I would like to throw it out there that this is used as our vanilla rather than actual vanilla.
Whitey in guyana 🇬🇾
bruh that’s paterna
We have alot of them in the Caribbean Trinidad 🇹🇹
Do these grow true to seed?
I want one!
Where can you get seeds?
Pacay in Bolivia! Why icecreambean why
I had a tree of this in my greenhouse. Mistakenly forgot to set my heater back down after putting it up to water it. Lost that tree and like 17 other of my plants which I grew from seed
I've got one in Ga. She's hanging out in my garage until warm weather hits
yum i want one
Lots more on unusual fruit on The Kiwi Grower channel
So far I haven’t grown ANY fruit trees from seed yet, but this damn lemon plant from Home depot we got 1 yr ago, barely produces good fruits … lemons have thick skin & lil juice (even after consistent watering…) & now its in a transplant shock from 3 weeks ago… lost good amount of leaves on the bottom part of the main trunk
in my country this thing called snow fruit
I know these from Weird Explorer!
I swear americans do not have much vocabulary for fruits or any vegetation 😭
Thought he meant red bean at first when he said ice cream. Wonder what would happen when you mixed red bean with ice cream bean
Im growing an ice cream bean tree in a large pot on my patio. Can't wait for it to fruit. If you have any tips on growing, please share them! ❤
