  6. I just installed LineageOS 14.1 on my G Pad (8.3) and the easiest method was:
    1. Root
    – Go to https://towelroot.com/ and download the Towelroot apk to your G Pad
    – Install and run.
    2. Custom Recovery
    – Install the "official TWRP app" from the Play Store.
    – Use it to download the latest version of TWRP recovery for your device.
    – Then flash the recovery using the TWRP app.
    3. LineageOS + G Apps
    – Download the newest Lineage-Version for your device from https://download.lineageos.org
    – Download appropriate the G-Apps from http://opengapps.org/ (I used ARM, 7.1, mini)
    – Transfer both archives to your device.
    – Boot into recovery (for example using the TWRP app).
    – Wipe (ATTENTION: you are going to lose all data stored on your device) to do a factory reset.
    – Install first LineageOS, then G-Apps through recovery.
    Reboot. Done! Enjoy!

  12. I love you're videos, they are really helpful! I watching them all day and i am only 13!

  13. Need a update for this, I have a Verizon lg gpad 8.3 vk810 rooted and running stock 5.2 lolipop. I've tried everthing and am having a very hard time finding a method for installing a custom recovery without downgrading & it was hard enough just rooting 5.2 . ended up using vroot to install kinguser. I guess I should have just downgraded in the first place but that's like un bricking a perfectly good device. I couldn't bring myself to do it lol. Now I'm in a position where I'll lose all the time I put into rooting it on top of that.
