  3. I was given a fiddle leaf fig tree & I’ve just noticed it’s dripping sap, I’m assuming, on my floor! Does yours do that?

  4. I think if you house is neutral switching out fabrics is probably easier. My color palette is warm and spicy and serves me all year round. I will use fresh cut seasonal flowers and candles to make things more season specific. Otherwise everything stays and may get streamlined but that’s about it. I appreciate those who do switch out for the seasons.

  5. I definitely like to switch area rugs for the season. My summer is so light and airy and I’m the winter I have a cozy thick rug ????

  7. Totally agree minimizing clutter is the best for all seasons especially summer! Clean open areas with nice minimal decor looks more luxurious! Great video as always❤❤❤❤

  13. I like the idea of possibly changing pillows. However, I neither have the budget nor the mental capacity to do it. What I do instead, I buy the pillow covers to change. I do have space to store them and I can change the pillows as frequently as I want without having to buy and store so many pillows year-round.

  17. I love the switching pillow covers,using lighter colored vases, using summer scents, getting rid of clutter,etc.????. As for switching rugs and furniture, where do you put it? I would need to add an addition to my house if I wanted to switch out rugs, accent chairs and side tables. Not to mention the expense unless I filled my house with cheap rugs and furniture which doesn't seem sustainable.

  20. Love all the tips for lightening things up for the season and bringing in different elements. So many of the tips I already do it is reaffirming. Love the Planta app, I already have the free version but thinking about going for the premium with your discount code. It really has made me more of a green thumb and my plants love me now. ????????

  22. I think seasonal items have their place. I love a cute little flamingo paper straw for my drinks, or patterned paper napkins. I also have two cats so I get them the cute themed toys. It's small changes like that that bring in the festiveness and fun-ness of the summer season.

    Edited to add: I love Valentina's version of seasonal decor. Lightening pillow covers is an inexpensive way to do this. When I think of changing seasonal decor, I think of video where they change everything and it's pretty frustrating and not very realistic either. I can get on board with this!
