This video is very helpful and when I get my new cartridges I will certainly follow your directions. I am inquiring if my office jet hp 63 model 3830 will accept black cartridges only as I have no use for the color cartridge and the black ink cartridge is much cheaper. A key info bit: the HP label on each cartridge need face up, be on top (not face front), when inserting into the printer.

Can you help so I got this exact printer and black ink hp63cartridge but every time I install it gives me a message saying “Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed. If this message continues to appear, replace the indicated cartridge.” Please help
