There are two common questions when it comes to SkinCeuticals products: how do I use my product, and how do I apply it?
For best results, SkinCeuticals recommends starting each day with an antioxidant product. These are marked with “prevent” on the bottle. Once your antioxidant has fully absorbed, you can move onto corrective products (marked “correct” on the bottle) like Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Hydrating Serum.
In the morning: Start with your antioxidant product, followed by any remaining products in this order: serums, gels, lotions, creams and sunscreen. For serums, apply 4-5 drops. For gels, apply 2-3 pumps, and for lotions and creams, apply a pea to dime-sized amount.
In the evening: Start with your PM antioxidant or the SkinCeuticals retinol most appropriate for your skin types and concerns. Next, apply the products in the same order as you did in your AM routine: Serums, gels, lotions and creams. Again, apply 4-5 drops of serum, 2-3 pumps of gel, and a pea to dime-sized amount of lotions or creams.
Don’t worry about waiting between layering products—you only need to wait a few seconds or until they feel mostly absorbed.
