I want to eat some durian but I'm not going to have it until I can have it fresh not frozen. They're starting to carry it fresh at our local Asian store but they're tiny and really expensive. So I don't even know if they're properly ripe or if they are ready to eat they're so small. Yet they cost a fortune! I'd rather go to the part of Hawaii where she grew up and live there and eat them there for that price LOL

if it pops open easily, it's not fresh. if it's fibrous, it's low quality durian. good durian is sweet, extremely creamy and pungent

We need more vegan and vegetarian restaurants, I am not able to eat out unless I travel two hours to a small town that is heavily vegan friendly. Wicked happy that place is doing great, I hope they can inspire other chiefs.
