  1. Thanks, some of the tips were ones I had seen before. I will be using several of them in the near future.

  2. best youtuber on youtube. My favorited channel. Been watching him since the biggining

  3. These were excellent tips. Simple to understand. Thanks for the video John.

  4. That sanding over the glue gaps is… sorry, but no.
You made the perfect example with two wood species making the seam look dirty and you got gunk all into your sanding disk.

Sand one species, mix the dust with glue and then use that as wood filler.

  5. Appreciate the content ????
And, I noticed a couple of things. It looked like you drilled out more material on the butt joint screw holes after counter sinking and before adding the plugs. Easy to miss on the vid and an important step. Also, those plugs were plenty long enough to keep using for many holes. Save em! I keep a little container so I don't have to keep drilling more plugs unnecessarily. On the jointer, does that feather board really benefit enough to offset the danger of exposing the blade? I cant imagine.

  6. Happy to see a video again. Love this content. Nothing earth shattering but practical and useful.

  7. I can't remember which video I first learned it from, but the whole deal with removing dust collection on the sander to fill gaps is honestly a game changer. It's much easier and gives better results than the old making your own filler trick.

  8. Where can I get CA activator? I live in NW Flaoida and none of the big box stores know what it is when I ask about it.

  9. Great video John – no $15k of tools or expensive materials (which are fun but out of most guys reach) – just stuff most anyone can do in their garage.

  10. Those are all great tips! Super useful, keep up the good work John!
