We challenged chefs of three different levels – an amateur, a home cook and a professional chef – to make their versions of spaghetti & meatballs. And then we brought in a food scientist to review their work. Which one was the best?

The salt definitely doesn't need to raise the temperature quicker beacuse of chemistry and physics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it helps i think to let the starch go out

Without a taste test this is pretty pointless. I bet most people would be perfectly happy with the first one, especially when it's so much easier to prepare. A bit of food snobbery here I think.
