Way late to the party on this one lol in fact party is over till I made this party time to all those looking for measurements if you need measurements to make cornbread just stay out of the kitchen you can’t cook
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 tablespoon minced green jalapeno, seeds and stem removed
1 tablespoon minced red jalapeno, seeds and stem removed
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon butter

Too bad this "recipe" did not include any measurements for the ingredients.

I'm disappointed, there was hardly any pepper in that slice, it should have been incorporated into the batter and mixed thoroughly before adding it to the cast iron pan. You're slipping Emeril!

what makes a corn bread moist and what makes it rise up and be fluffly
so two eggs and some? 25 minutes @ 425 , salt makes it savory, sugar makes it sweet, so easy.
Here is the ingredients,

What if you use Jiffy Muffin Mix? And add smoked sausage or kielbasa and some creamed corn? What are you gonna do with that?. Any ideas on that? Lol.

I always use oil in my basic cornbread and it is always dry.
Substitute BUTTERmilk for regular milk, and you have it right.
