Hi Stephanie, I was wondering if you ever cook the blueberry filling before adding to the pie crust? You are an inspiration and excellent teacher. should I cover the edge w tinfoil the entire baking time or just when I reduce the heat. do I reduce the heat while cooking it? or take it out and then put it back when oven has reduced?

this recipe is same delicious like your apple pie recipe…..I am from Austria and Austrians don`t really make pies, there is more the 'apple strudel' thats famous, but my husband is Canadian and loves pies, so I looked for recipes and found your videos, I learned from your videos how to make the cust and pies 😀  thank you so much !
