Easiest Pumpkin Pie Ever | Thanksgiving Recipe
Ingredients:
1 (14.1 oz.) package refrigerated pie crusts
1 1/2 cups plus 2 Tbsp. buttermilk, divided
Parchment paper
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk

Simply put, the classic pumpkin pie doesn't get much easier than this. To prevent a soggy crust, use a metal pie pan and pre-bake your crust with pie weights.

I put in nut meg and used half and half which gives the pie more structure. I also made my own pie crust with plane old water and flour.

Horrible recipe, itβs completely uncooked. Then I add 15 minutes under 425, still uncooked.
Why is that Buttermilk "divided"??? BTW, can use wax paper and washed gravel (washed and sterilized). Also use bottom shelf or my crust tips get too dark and don't want to deal with a collar. Pro Tips from a FAMOUS Chef.

last packaged store bought recipe I had tasted like peanut butter not pumpkn because there using toooooooo mchhhhh salt these days and it changed the flavor

I'm sorry but this is not pumpkin pie. Not even close
So I put mine in for 10 minutes at 450 then put it in 65 minutes at 350 it taste amazing after π€
Tried this recipie..used evaporated milk ….came out great ..beautiful consistency…I needed a little more cinnamons spicy to it…so next time do you think I should use little more cinnamon or about one half tsp pumpkin pie spice? Please respond ..making tomorrow..thanks

Hi great recipie…I love cinnamon so this is perfect..one question…not going to blind bake with pie weights….so what is the cookin time without doing this. 425 10 mins then 350 for another 40 mins? Thank you..also using evaporated milk. Great video. I subscribed to you channel!
We don't have Thanksgiving here in Australia but pumpkin pie sounds really yummy. I would just steam and purΓ©e my own Punkin as we don't have canned pumpkin here it is so available to us and we use it all the time . ( so I'm not sure when you have it canned )
