Do you know a crisco alternative?
Hi there, I would like to make a bottom crust for a sweet potato cobbler which has a lot more juice than the peach cobbler would this hold up if I pre bake the bottom before I add the potatoes and juice and then add the top as normal and let it bake for the alloted timeframes, also I'm making in a 9×13 so I probably would need to double the recipe, what are your sugestions?

My goodness. Why would you ever call this a cobbler. Itβs peach pie. Yes it will taste ok but not a chance in the world that this should be called cobbler.

That Is a peach pie not cobbler. Cobblers do not have bottom crust.
