How Different Brands of Ammunition Affect Accuracy Presented by Larry Potterfield of MidwayUSA

One of the facts of life is that different brands of factory ammunition will provide different levels of accuracy in the same rifle. The only way to determine which shoots best in your rifle is by spending some time at the range. Watch as Larry Potterfield, CEO and Founder of MidwayUSA demonstrates this principle.

  1. Larry potterfield is so cool, it's almost like hes nerdy, but hes such a nerd that hes actually a freakin cool bad a** because hes so g**** smart and knows what hes doing so good that I'm like, mesmerize watching. Him I love how he says at the end of it and that's the way it is and more. I wouldn't argue if Larry potterfield says that's the way it is, I'm going with that.

  2. He’s not entirely correct. I have some that won’t shoot at all with factory cartridges. Takes home brews to get any accuracy out of them. I have one that 2 easiest to get brands actually stick the bolt on them other brands shoot 4” at 50 yards and then cheap Russian steel cases Wolf shoots 1.5” at 100 Meters. But homebrew with my old standby now extinct IMR 4895 is plumb assed a single hole shooter at the same range. I miss the Free prosperous American that could trade with Russia and get cheap ammunition and stuff.

  3. Great job and videoLarry! I've done this with my Winchester Model 70 (Mannlicher stocked) rifle, and have been surprised at the different accuracy results I get from each brand! That said, I'm still spending time at the Reloading Bench, so I can see if my handholds can match or exceed these results!

  4. These videos are hysterical. He should start a French baking video series. "There are many ingredients that you'll need to cook excellent French dishes. You'll need to experiment and find out which ones to use. Don't forget to subscribe for more helpful advice!"

  5. Or you can just start RE LOADING your own , and really dial it in… IF only we could buy some Primers …. Sigh ..

  6. I love how it’s just a 1 minute and 25 second video to tell you to figure it out on your own
