  1. Learning how to grow veggies n flowers. I have gravitated to fabric pots while I finish constructing a raised bed garden and they really are fun to use. I live in dry zone 9b so the best part is being able to move the fabric pots if I need to.

Btw your previous video on tomatoes in containers helped get me started. Have my first tomatoes popping up already. Looking forward to the new video for more education. ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Always good information, thanks for making it easier. Gonna order some bags now. Thanks

  3. I bought a 6ft grow bag last year and grew sugar baby watermelons in them next to a trellis. They did ok. I moved the bag to a different spot last fall and planted onions and garlic. They are looking great so far! I would love to try smaller sizes though. That 6ft long grow bag looks like a body bag in the garden ๐Ÿ˜‚

  4. Thank you for the opportunity on winning a grow bag. I would love to try one as Iโ€™ve never container grown .. only in my raised beds, time to expand my garden ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  5. I have. used grow bags for a couple of years. I find that they limit mole and vole damage on my root crops and I especially like their portability. Because of neighboring trees my garden area shrinks every year and I have to make use of sunny spots wherever I can find them. I have found that my grow bags seem to hold moisture better if I sink them about 2 inches into the soil rather than sitting them directly on bare ground but this does result in some roots growing through. Would like to trial the living soil bags.

  6. Just starting my garden. Have a few small raised beds and would love to have a grow bag to grow tomatoes, potatoes, or eggplant.

  7. I love getting new videos from you – I always know I'm going to learn something! And the free giveaways are cool too.

  8. I grow the best vegtibulls , I piss in my pots and it wirks greiht , my mators get rilly bigg and dond taced like piss at ah , yew evur pee on yur vegtibulls ?

  9. Hey Brian! Excited for this container garden series. I garden in ground, raised beds and containers. This year I have spinach, peas, garlic, radishes and strawberries in containers so far. Not to mention herbs and flowers. I am in northern Idaho so we are still pretty chilly up here! Tomatoes and peppers are doing great under grow lights waiting for the weather to warm up. Happy gardening.

  10. Iโ€™ve used containers for peppers and tomatoes. Last year I had celery and eggplant in containers. I use plastic and wood half barrels. Iโ€™ve never tried grow bags, but think the ones you have look great. I will look into them more. Thanks for the great information. My book should be arriving Monday , canโ€™t wait to read it.

  11. Thank you for this video, I hated growing things in the grow bags. They never did well for me. I'll give your brand a try, thanks for sharing your experience ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ€๐ŸŒบ

  12. I have raised beds but the deer have been increasing in numbers over the past few years. So far, they donโ€™t seem to like to step on our brick patio so Iโ€™ve been trying to grow more food on the patio, as opposed to just flowers. I would grow an indeterminate tomato in a grow bag.

  13. I love your educational videos I now feel confident that my garden is going to be amazing this year. I have never done raised beds but I am going to try some of this year.

  14. I grow totally in fabric pots. I use the ones made by "Root Pouch"- bought those because they are from 100% from recycled plastic bottles. I am in No Cal and had to water frequently using 5gal, 7gal and 10 gal bags. Got the 20 gallon this year as I am growing indeterminate tomatoes and pole green bean this year, grew all determinate toms and bush beans last year. So I think the watering might be a bit less for the larger pots. We will see. using my smaller ones this year for things i am growing for the first time, squash, cucumbers, radishes. I was happy with the fabric pots last year.

  15. Quick question for you Brian, do you use the same soil in the Living Soil pots as with any other container? Do I assume correctly that we donโ€™t have the worry about drainage in them at all, (no putting gravel in the bottom), stuff like that? Thx

  16. Perfect timing for both container gardening and tomatoes in containers, tomorrow. I am really trying to get educated for a success with fruits and veggies in containers. I have a disability and working a traditional garden is out of the question as is building a raised bed garden. I feel 5 gal containers are manageable for me.

  17. I am planting all my veggies in containers, I definitely want to try grow bags. Thanks for your videos! I currently am growing lettuce, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries and various herbs. I did plant rhubarb and asparagus in ground.

  18. I love how detailed and easily you explain everything. I have been gardening 30+ years and this will be my first for trying containers to expand my gardening space. Looking forward to doing my potatoes & sweet potatoes, herbs, peas & lettuces in containers. Whatever I can squeeze onto my deck and garden fence๐Ÿ˜ƒ
