This helped me tremendously. The water heater was not heating the water at all. I changed both elements to no avail. After using the multi meter and testing the thermostat and not getting 240 volts, I determined I had a bad breaker. Very good instructnal video regarding how to use multi meter
Wait how is that getting power with the breaker off?
The problem was solved and fixed 15 minutes after watching this video, thank you.
Thanks for your channel and information ????
Perfect video!!
Simple and to the point.
Thank you!
can you show capacitor test using this same multimeter
What, you didn't check continuity, wow!!
This video helped so much. Thanks. I was just trying to see if I turned the proper circuit breaker off for my hot water heater tank. It's clearly labeled on the fuse panel. I just wasn't sure.
Thank you, you help alot
You are a plumber not an electrician,
Now we going to have a electrician teaching how to do the main drain line. ????
Fantastically clear to understand. Thanks so much.
Very helpful, thanjs.
I put my leads on both of the two top screws and it blew the leads off my multimeter. What gives? I did it exactly like the video showed.
also mention that some single element , lower capacity water heaters use 120 volts and will state that on the information sticker on the heater.
Dave, your a fucking stand up guy. Thanks for the video.
very helpful thank you.
