In this video Jon shows us how to make a super delicious vegan pizza just in time for your Superbowl party.

Pizza
serves 6 to 8 / time 20 min
1 pizza dough
1 cup tomato sauce
½ red pepper diced
8 to 10 basil leaves freshly chopped
1 Tbs olive oil
2 cups vegan cheese shreds i.e. Daiya Shreds
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp parsley dried
½ tsp oregano dried

1. Form dough into a pizza shell and place on pizza tray.
2. Pre-heat oven to 430 degrees.
3. Add sauce to middle of pizza shell and work it out in a spiral motion towards the lip with a ladle.
4. In mixing bowl add the vegan cheese shreds, chopped basil and red pepper. Mix together and then sprinkle on pizza evenly.
5. In small bowl, mix the garlic powder, parsley and oregano together. Sprinkle desired amount on pizza.
6. Brush olive oil around the crust and place in oven for 10 to 12 min, or until the bottom in nicely browned.
7. Remove from oven and cut into 6 or 8 slices.

In this episode we make a new and improved seitan which we use to create a delicious vegan cheesesteak sandwich.

-Contest update: Kevin R. won this contest and named this sandwich. Congratulations to him.

-Vegan Seitan Cheesesteak:

-Mix dry ingredients together and then wet ingredients, then mix both together for seitan:
Dry
1 1/2 cup vital wheat gluten
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 cup garbonzo bean powder (or chick pea flour)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tbsp mesquite ( http://bit.ly/Hozrdq )
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp turmeric

-Wet ingredients:
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 cup vegetable stock
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp liquid smoke
2 cloves of shredded garlic
pinch of pepper

-add all ingredients together and form a dough. Cut in half and make two logs wrap each part of seitan in cheesecloth and place in casserole dish.

-Stock to cook seitan in:
1 1/2 cup vegetable stock
1 diced onion
4 smashed cloves garlic
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp molasses
2 cups water
-Heat on stove 5- 10 mins
-Pour in casserole dish to cover seitan. Cover dish and place in oven 350 for 1 hour. Then flip seitan and continue to cook for 1/2 hour uncovered. If still too soft, then cook for another 20 mins.

Daiya cheese sauce
1 cup Daiya cheese (cheddar)
1/2 cup soy milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp paprika
pinch of pepper
1 tbsp dijon mustard
Stir it all together over med heat and set aside.

Slice up your seitan, and saute it together with a diced onion and diced poblano pepper. Toast a roll of your choice and add Vegenaise and your seitan saute to it. Add Daiya cheese sauce and you’re good to go…Enjoy!

I using the drink cans to make a Colorado blade for use in lure fishing. This lure blade has less vibration than the standard Colorado blades.

— Chapter of this video —
0:00 – The lure’s action in the underwater, and Bass fishing.
0:25 – Cut the empty soda cans.
0:57 – Polish the cans.
1:54 – Cleanly remove the dirt.
2:22 – Glue the two cans together.
3:24 – Trace the template.
4:32 – Drill a hole in the blade.
5:20 – Sand the sides of the blade (as optional).
6:10 – Attach the blade to the spinner bait.

Maintaining your type 4c natural hair can be easy if you are aware of these 10 things:

1. Rubber Bands or any accessory that can damage your hair.

2. Letting people do your hair when they don’t know how. You need to speak up!

3. braiding your own hair? Yes that can be a big one. You don’t realize your breaking your hair off as a amateur braider until its to late.

4. Not using the proper tool for YOU when it comes to detangling your hair. Im not saying finger detangling is bad. However if its not for you don’t force it.

5. Moisturizing is key for natural hair. If you don’t do it, don’t be surprised if your hair breaks off.

6. Protective styles can save your hair from breakage by keeping your hair protected!

7. However, not everything is for everyone so if your hair doesn’t agree with a style make that executive decision to “X” it out!

8.Keep your hair organized when detangling or working with your type 4 crown.

10. Your hair will reflect they way that you feel about her. If you think your hair is ugly she will infect be ugly. Change your thinking and the look of your hair will definitely change!

Neatloaf:
1 cup millet
3 medium potatoes roughly chopped
3 medium onions finely chopped
3 cups veggie broth
2 ribs celery chopped
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp caraway seeds toasted
1 tsp dried sage
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp sea salt
2 Tbs balsamic vinegar to deglaze pan
2 Tbs vegan worcestershire sauce i.e. Edward & Sons http://full.sc/M8ccGz
3 Tbs olive oil
organic ketchup

1. In medium pot bring veggie broth to boil and add the millet. Then reduce to a simmer for about 20 min until millet absorbs liquid.
2. Boil potatoes in separate pot.
3. Heat olive oil in saucepan on medium high. Add onions and sauté until golden brown. Then add celery and garlic and sauté for 2 to 3 min. Add toasted caraway seeds, sage, thyme and sea salt. Stir in and remove from heat. Deglaze pan with balsamic vinegar.
4. In large mixing bowl, add millet, potatoes, Worcestershire sauce and sautéed spiced onions. Once it’s cooled enough, mix together thoroughly with hands.
5. Line loaf pan with parchment paper and pack in Neatloaf mixture tightly.
6. Spread ketchup on top and place in oven for 30 to 45 min at 350*
7. Let Neatloaf cool down and pull it out of pan. Let cool down and carefully slice with serrated knife.

1/2 brick extra firm tofu
Smart Bacon: http://www.lightlife.com/Vegan-Food-Vegetarian-Diet/Smart-Bacon
1/4 onion
1 tomato
1 potato
1/2 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp Hot Sauce
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 cup Daiya Cheese

Start with 2 tbsp olive oil on med heated pan
dice potato and add to heat
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
dice up Smart Bacon and onion
add onions and smart bacon
crumble up tofu into pan
add spices and hot sauce
Add tomato diced
Add the Daiya Cheese
Steam Shells and roll filling into burritos

I plan on moving to the Los Angeles area either before, or early, 2012. I primarily work with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Cinema 4D. I am also a cinematographer, an independent wrestler, a magician, I can solve a 7-sided Rubik’s cube, I am drug and alcohol free, and a proud graduate of P90X.

Michael Bates:

Michael grew up in the West Country of England in a family of dedicated gardeners. He now designs and consults extensively throughout the West Coast. His own Sonoma Mountain garden is a wonderful California hybrid of the traditional English style, including mass plantings of shrub roses, perennials, and a wildflower meadow.

Sarah Hammond:

Sarah is a lifelong gardener. With frequent trips to England, over a 15 year span, Sarah has introduced many unusual perennials to the U.S.She established the original Smith and Hawken nursery in Mill Valley and still consults for them, and others. Her coastal garden and retail nursery is an hour north of San Francisco.

Daria and Bruce Shanks:

Both Bruce and Daria got their horticultural start in the retail nursery business. In Daria’s case, starting at age 13. Later, Bruce focused on landscape design, and installation. They now own and operate Cottage Garden Growers of Petaluma, a 2 acre nursery specializing in perennial plants.
