โรคลิ้นหัวใจตีบเกิดจากการเสื่อมสภาพของลิ้นหัวใจ ซึ่งอาจนำไปสู่ภาวะหัวใจวายได้ หากไม่ได้รับการรักษา ทั้งนี้ ส่วนใหญ่พบในกลุ่มผู้ป่วยสูงอายุซึ่งมักมีความเสี่ยงในการผ่าตัดรักษามากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะเมื่อผู้ป่วยมีโรคอื่น ๆ ร่วมด้วย

การเปลี่ยนลิ้นหัวใจเอ-ออร์ติกเทียมผ่านสายสวน โดยไม่ต้องผ่าตัด TAVR จึงเป็นทางเลือกการรักษาที่ช่วยให้ผู้สูงวัยกลับไปมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีได้อีกครั้ง แต่ด้วยการรักษาที่มีค่าใช้จ่ายสูงมาก โดยเฉพาะค่าลิ้นหัวใจ 1 ลิ้น มีค่าใช้จ่ายเฉลี่ยประมาณ 1 ล้านบาทต่อคน ทำให้ผู้ป่วยจำนวนมากไม่สามารถเข้าถึงการรักษาได้

“โครงการเปลี่ยนลิ้นหัวใจเอ-ออร์ติกเทียมผ่านสายสวน ศูนย์หัวใจและหลอดเลือด โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์”
เปิดรับผู้ป่วยเข้าโครงการเปลี่ยนลิ้นหัวใจเอ-ออร์ติกผ่านสายสวนโดยไม่ต้องผ่าตัด เพิ่มอีกจำนวน 150 ราย โดยผู้ที่ผ่านเกณฑ์ตามข้อบ่งชี้จะได้รับการเปลี่ยนลิ้นหัวใจเอ-ออร์ติกผ่านสายสวน โดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย (1 ลิ้น = 1 ล้านบาท) *สำหรับการทำหัตถการเบิกจ่ายตามสิทธิการรักษาของผู้ป่วย

เชื่อมต่อทุกการรักษาจากทั่วทุกภูมิภาค และสนับสนุนการเปลี่ยนลิ้นหัวใจผ่านสายสวนโดยไม่ต้องผ่าตัด ให้กับผู้ป่วยโรคลิ้นหัวใจเอ-ออร์ติกตีบรุนแรงทั่วประเทศ ที่จำเป็นต้องใช้ลิ้นหัวใจแต่ไม่สามารถเสียค่าใช้จ่าย เพื่อเข้าถึงการรักษาได้ เพื่อช่วยให้ผู้ป่วยสามารถกลับไปมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีได้อีกครั้ง

Anti-inflammatory Recipes: Oral Rehydration Solution

The anti-inflammatory diet is a fiber- and nutrient-rich eating pattern that focuses on whole foods and reduces or eliminates foods known to contribute to chronic inflammation. Potential benefits of the diet include maintenance of health and wellness and prevention of chronic diseases associated with inflammation, such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease and some forms of cancer. This recipe was developed by a team of doctors and nutrition experts at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Drexel University.

Oral Rehydration Solution
Serves: 6
3 cups water
2 cups coconut water
¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt

In a large pitcher, mix together all ingredients. Store in refrigerator, drink within 1 week. Serve in 1-cup portions.

Recipes were developed in collaboration with Alexandra Zeitz and the Drexel Food Lab and shot at the Center for Food and Hospitality Management at Drexel University. The videos were created with generous support from the Snider Foundation.

All of the recipes in this series are vegetarian.

Golden Milk
Serves: 2
2 cup milk of choice (cow, soy, almond, coconut)
1 inch slice fresh ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
1 pinch ground black pepper
2 teaspoons honey

In a small pot, bring all ingredients to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Can be served warm or cold.
